BLCI facilitated the replacement of the leaning pole and transferring its primary line along IBT road as ride-on activities during the NGCP Scheduled Power Interruption on Sept. 17, 2022, starting from 3:00am.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this will bring you and humbly request your patience and understanding on this matter.
Rest assured that BLCI and NGCP team will exert their best effort to restore the power at the soonest possible time.
Restoration updates will be posted when power will be back on the grid.

HAPPY FIESTA STA, CRUZ!!!
On September 12, 2022, the Bohol Light Company, Inc. actively participated in the nightly activities scheduled by the Barangay Council of Poblacion III, Tagbilaran City in celebration of the feast of Sta. Cruz Chapel this coming September 14, 2022.
Being the electricity provider and partner in progress, BLCI proudly presents its talented and valuable employees to give more fun and excitement during the BOHOL LIGHT SHOW to treasure the tradition and culture of being a Boholano people.

September 10, 2022 – Updates to BLCI’s Ride-on Activities

At around 5:00am BLCI Linemen and Engineers started its ride-on activities like the relocation of the concrete pole, pole dressing, and transfer of its primary lines along Tamblot Extension, Poblacion III, Tagbilaran City. This is to improve power reliability and reduce system losses.
Power restoration updates to affected areas will be posted once the maintenance activity of NGCP is done.

Updates to BLCI’s Unscheduled Power Interruption

Date: September 6, 2022

At around 4:47am, there was an outage occurred to Feeder A, C, E, and F areas. The SF6 Breaker at the Sending End was trip off due to the electrocuted snake at sub-transmission line in front LTO.

It was successfully restored at around 6:30am.

Transforming Challenges into Opportunities

Despite the challenges encountered during the pandemic and overcoming the aftermath of the Supertyphoon “Odette”, these do not hinder the BOHOL LIGHT COMPANY, INC. (BLCI) to pursue its plan of holding its 22nd Founding Anniversary and Team Building Activities at MJS Campsite, Boctol, Balilihan, Bohol last July 21, 2022, through the joint efforts of its employees and staff.
The program was started with a Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Agerio Paña and immediately followed by the awarding and recognition ceremonies. These were to recognize the employees’ loyalty, dedication, and good performance to the company, especially to those who were in service for fifth-year, tenth-year, fifteenth-year, and Twentieth-year, No tardiness and 5S awards respectively.
Managers of the BLCI Family headed by Engr. Paulino G. Almedilla, MBA, actively joined together to witness the significant activities as everybody enjoyed the competition of winning the amazing race. Through the initiatives and leadership of the coordinators headed by Mr. Rotelio M. Lamdagan Jr., the success of the activities was marked as most memorable, wonderful, and joyful to the participants of the said events.
It was indeed an incredible experience for the BLCI Family for this year’s 2022 celebration with a theme, “Transforming Challenges into Opportunities”.
